Terrible. 1 HR in five games, terribe

• Vest didn’t look great the entire spring and he still doesn’t. awful
• Torres hitting .188 zzzz
• Greene .190 terrible
• Carp .105 god awful
• Tork .150 terrible
• McKinstry .125 terrible

This is not a recipe for success, No HR power from anyone. Perhaps all overly focused on trying to stay inside the baseball? Fire the hitting coach

I see the problem now, I bought this 2026 tigers calendar from a calendar store last DEC and for the month of March it featured kenta maeda! I do remember saying when first turned March WTF is Kenta doing here on this calendar! He blew dead goats!

Well I just turned it to April and it features torkelson so all should be well again now

I still do not understand what AJ was doing. Anderson had a brilliant 7th inning. Great stuff. Instead of AJ using Vest to start a clean 8th inning (8th and 9th batters) Anderson gives up 2 hits and now Vest has to navigate Jam which he didn’t do. Vest or Kyle in the 8th and Jansen in the 9th. Kinda of easy decisions to make AJ

I’m Cautiously Pessimistic it will improve to any large extent anytime soon

Casey Mize with 15 whiffs for just the 7th time in 88 career starts, and just the 3rd time he has struck out 9 or more in a game. Excellent first start.

Obviously the bullpen is the main culprit here, but the Tigers offense has been so hot and cold to start the year. They have 6 hits and all came in the 3rd inning. J
ust two baserunners since. And they scored all 6 runs last night in a single inning.

Tigers offense in four innings this season: 18-for-30 (.600), 19 runs.
Tigers offense in the other 41 innings: 18-for-138 (.130), five runs.

Tork and Kerry begin the season a combined 5-38.
Tork in even years suck.
