Skubals first hit given up. I lost Roku signal N was explaining to my wife what happened Galadraga’s near miss perfect game and when the signal came back two runners were on and the double play happened. She was looking at me with deer in headlights.

Before today's game, Gleyber Torres has reached base in eight consecutive plate appearances since last night: BB, 1B, BB, BB, 2B, BB, BB, 2B.
Torres has 19 walks (11.2 percent) and 15 strikeouts (8.9 percent) in 169 plate appearances this season, which is pretty incredible.
After walking 7X in 107 PA in April, RileyGreene has now walk 10X in 90 pa in May, more like his 2024 rate of 11%.
Even if the Tigers had signed Alex Bregman, it appears they would still need someone to play 3B this year. Bregman now headed to the IL w/ another severe hamstring injury - his 4th since 2020. Last time he was out for 10 weeks.
Tarik Skubal just casually throwing 102 in the seventh.
