It was the first earned runs he gave up this season, though he did give up a couple unearned ones. Bullpen meltdown; it's 12-6 now, and the Twins are still up in the top of the 10th. The Seattle pen wasn't a joke previously.Damn Seattle Closer just gave up a 3 spot in top of the 9th up 6-3. I think it’s his first runs he has given up. All after two outs were recorded.

If this season continues the way it has, the Detroit Tigers have 4 legitimate candidates for Comeback Player of the Year. Three of them who have never had a decent year since they came to Detroit. Another with unremarkable stats who is having the best season of his 6-year career and one of the offensive and defensive leaders on this team.
Our poll last week showed the results of Tiger fans re-focusing their attentions on these players and away from the consistently better ones from the previous years. Obviously, these 4 who have been struggling have been more interesting to follow and generating more feel-good moments.
