Game #59: Detroit Tigers @ Kansas City Royals, Saturday May 31st, 2025, 4:10 Pm

Other then Keith and Torres. Not one hitter tried to go the other way. Maybe Dingler his last AB.

He isn’t JV. And JV has spent the bulk of his last four years injured. Again, look at our hitting, not our pitching.
Ive already clearly blamed the offense.

Also JV is 100 years old. His age 28 season(skubal now) he went 251 innings. Skubal has never sniffed 200.

JV last couple years has stated pitchers don’t get stretched enough. I agree 100%.

Need to strech skubal out. He had zero stressful pitches.

It has become more specialized with all these relievers from the 5th or 6th inning on.

I said earlier that wacha pitched well against our Tigers before, even when he was with the cardinals and red sox.

Detnews

Detroit Tigers waste Tarik Skubal gem in two-hit, 1-0 loss to Kansas City Royals.
Freep

Tarik Skubal dazzles again, but Tigers’ bats go quiet in loss to Royals.
Mlive

I worry the bats will go silent in the playoffs if we can hold and make the post Season.

We couldn’t put away Cleveland up 2 games to 1. I think in game four Bo coughed up that lead too. Thomas homer of i am remember it right. Hopefully we can grind these low scoring wins out of we make the playoffs.
