Kevin McGonigle is off to an unreal start. .364 AVG .440 OBP .985 OPS 8 hits 3 walks
5 RBIs 2 doubles 1 triple. He’s also playing tremendous defense with 0.4 WAR already, an absurd 10+ WAR pace. It’s early and he won’t stay this hot, but wow… what a start. Sky is the limit.

Tigers are 2-4, shutout twice. They've only scored in 2 of their last 37 innings. Carp/Tork/Greene hitting .149 with a .424 OPS. Only 3 extra base hits, 26 strikeouts for the trio.
Yuck, You can feel a level of anxiety with the fan base especially given last year's ending.

Went 18-9 in April
Went 19-9 in May

They have a better team on paper in 2026.
