GAME 61 - Detroit Tigers @ Tampa Bay Rays, Monday, June 1, 2026 6:40 PM

We just don’t have any arms that can miss bats in the bullpen.

Clown show continues. My god Lee what the **** are you guys doing out there at 2nd base ?

Taylor made double play. Lee drops the damn ball.
I see why Philadelphia traded Lee away.

Can we miss any bats ?

You can’t have anymore Taylor made double play that was hot to Lee.
Was he trying to flip it and why was Kevin going to the bag ?

I agree on the Perez take. Although AJ is really starting to get on my nerves. The way they treat Montero is just flat out wrong.

How about that from Vest !

Well done !

Tigers win 10-9 Final !

Just got back from the Texas hold tournament second place 34 points.
Now is anyone now willing to believe the Tigers were missing Cart bat. Stop thinking about TS not pitching as he never had a game wining hit let alone an at bat. Get the rest of those better bats back and send down the sub .200 and this team might get better on the offence. Hitters, not injury pitchers affect the offence. The next person that says TS is losing games is not knowing anything about this game! Its the offence and relief pitching that's been killing them. Get the injury players back and then see what kind of team Tigers put on the field!!! Way to go Tigers and KC that puts length in the lineup. Thankyou G Workmsn t for your service, bur CK is much more needed.
Tigers really need GT,JB,PM and sone of the pitchers back.

Tigers ride home-run barrage to edge Rays: 'That's not sustainable.
No such thing as a bad win. Especially not coming off the month like the Tigers' endured in May.
But this is not the preferred path.
"We got away with it tonight," manager AJ Hinch said. "But that's not sustainable."
The Tigers did start the month of June off with a bang. They slugged five home runs Monday night and scored more than they had in any game since April 16. They built leads of 6-0, 8-2 and 10-5, but had to hang for dear life to secure a 10-9 win over the Tampa Bay Rays and snap a four-game losing streak in the first of three at Tropicana Field.

3 straight homers power Tigers to uncomfortably tight win over Rays.
Back-to-back-to-back.
Three home runs in a row from Dillon Dingler, Kerry Carpenter and Riley Greene powered the Detroit Tigers to a 10-9 win over the Tampa Bay Rays on Monday, June 1, in the first of three games in the series at Tropicana Field.
Six relievers pieced together the final 17 outs.
Right-handed reliever Will Vest shut down the Rays' comeback effort – featuring a three-run sixth inning and a four-run eighth inning – by getting the final five outs, using 40 pitches.

The summer of our discontent.
Frankly, the Tigers' freefall in 2026 doesn't really surprise me. Certainly not more than their playoff appearances in 2024-25 did.
