This never gets old:

Get use to that Kevin. I hate our center field.
Torrres sees 1 pitch
How many near misses for homers are we going to have ?
Carpenter crushed that ball.
Greene flys out
Tigers now 16 innings in a row without a run.

Tigers have released RHP Phil Bickford and LHP Colin Poche. Both were assigned to Triple-A Toledo roster after signing minor-league deals in January and February, but neither pitched. Bickford was in big-league camp as a non-roster invite but didn’t pitch due to a triceps strain.

Brad Galli Interviews Tarik Skubal enters 2026 with a furious energy. "We've gotten to the same spot two years in a row. We've failed, and I've been on the mound for those, so anytime you experience failure like that in a win-or-go-home, it's only going to fuel you," the Tigers ace said.

Miggy hitting a home run in the snow on Tigers Opening Day, 2021.

Colt Keith had one of the highest FlyBallOut% in the league in 2025 largely due to his 27th percentile bat speed. This year, his bat speed has increased ~3mph.
Here’s his batted ball profile from 2025 with his 2026 bat speed increase+20 barrels+9 HRsAll-Star Caliber player.

Justin Verlander is back in Detroit with the Tigers for the first time since 2017. “I’m excited to come back and relive it, and kind of embrace the time that I had here and look back fondly, and hopefully continue to leave a mark,” he said.

17 innings in a row zero runs.
You would think tiger player would fall into a pitch a drill a homer.
Tigers go 123 in second.
7 of the 9 tigers hitters are .200 or below.

Two out trouble for Valdez .
Ground out to Ss ends the threat.

So now we re are not working at bats and hacking at the first few pitches. Parker and Kevin see few pitches.

Man we have some slow cats on this team.
We Cant even score on a 2 out single.
Scoreless inning streak reaches 18.

Tigers defense struggles again. Tork and Valdez yikes .
Tork cant make the play.. FV beat the runner but drops the ball.
Throw from Tork hits FV fingers. He still should catches that.
FV walks the next batter to load bases after gaff.
Mound visit from the pitching wizard settles FV down.
Gets ahead 0-2 and then s lazy F-7 for last out.
