Game #87: Detroit Tigers @ Washington Nationals, Wednesday July 2nd, 2025, 6:45 Pm

Going to be pissed walking the dog lol.

Don’t kick the dog because of this.

The Tigers still have the biggest division lead in the league - by a good bit.

It’s been a very good first half and change of the season.

Never kick the dog. But damn Fireworks no matter how small scare her. Makes the walk much harder.

Poor Jack. He just cant buy a win. He did pitch great after the 3 runs.

I just do not want to lose the series to this bad team. Thought we had them.

We do have them.

Our guys will tomorrow.

Most of my dogs hated fireworks too.

I’m optimistic about the Tigers this season.

They’re on a pace to lose only about sixty.

Sure, sometimes teams lose less than sixty - the ‘84 Tigers lost 58 - but that’s the exception.

Hey, at right around the halfway point in what’s been a better than expected season, let’s have a little rewind.

Remember on June 12th the Mets were 45-24. They had just won 6 in a row.
On Friday June 13th the losing started. Lost 7 in a row.
Won 1. Lost 3, won 2, Lost 4 . They are 3-14 last 17 games.

I really want us to avoid a stretch like this.

Since June 6th
