Riley Greene punched his All-Star Game ticket in June. Greene has improved upon his strong 2024 in basically every way with a monster June showing.

Riley Greene Is Not Getting Enough Attention.
TMLR

Colt Keith since 5/4:
306/352/500 1.2 WAR 852 OPS 138 wRC+ (#42 in MLB) 194 ISO 4 HR 20 RBI.

Team OPS is High Leverage.

Riley Greene now at 3.1 WAR Zach McKinstry at 2.7 WAR. The idea Z-Mac could be a 4.5 WAR player is just astounding.

Greene and Báez join Magglio Ordoñez (2007), Chet Lemon (1984), Ron LeFlore (1976), and Rusty Staub (1976) as Tigers outfielders to earn a fan-elected start. Torres joins Lou Whitaker (1984-86) and Placido Polanco (2007) as Tigers second basemen to earn fan elections.

Zach McKinstry has a .349 batting average since the start of June, which is tied for 6th among all MLB hitters over that span.

A.J. Hinch after game one of yesterday's doubleheader: "I'm pretty much President of the Zach McKinstry Fan Club..."

Could Tarik Skubal join Clayton Kershaw in the 3,000-strikeout club?

McGonigle is crushing the ball. His offense is so much more impressive than Clark. They both have 7 HRs but McGonigle has more extra base hits in less than 1/2 of the plate appearances. I wonder if he is good enough defensively to stay at SS?

Do not sell Clark short. He walks at a high rate and scouts say he mlb ready for center field defense also. I agree Kevin has a better bat now . I sure hope they both make it. He steals bases too. Something we do not do well.

Two Detroit Tigers prospects have been named June player of the month in their respective leagues: infielder Kevin McGonigle of High-A West Michigan and utility player Chris Meyers of Double-A Erie.

Kaboom ! Tork deep cf 3 run shot ! 428 feet !
3-2 count . Bunch of fouls . Crushed it.
Picks up Perez and Greene

At least there is time to come back, if he gets things together.

Well this went down hill in a hurry. Is this guy Enns throwing a lot of changups like the other guy did?

I’ve seen enough to know that Montero is better.
