Game #92: Tampa Bay Rays @ Detroit Tigers, Monday July 7th, 2025. 6:40

68 pitches over 6 innings and dipshit AJ pulls him????? I just don't understand why AJ wants to keep blowing out his relievers????

The bash brothers! Keith and McKinstry both hit #7 in the 7th.

I think I saw the same chick out there in the right field bleachers. Catch both of those home run balls in her baseball glove.

Kaboom ! Keith deep to RF 390 Feet
Kaboom ! McKinstry deep to RF 385 feet.

Back to back jacks.,

#7 for each

So Hanifee gets ahead every at bat then he has to battle it seems.
rays batter chases high Heat and k’s 2 outs.

Finally, I am hearing people comparing these Tigers the 1984 team.

It’s a little early to bring it up, but there has been a little bit of a tingle in my bones

no kidding. They have been hurting for starters and he is a perfectly fine #5 starter.
In the meantime, they've been over using their relievers. Hanifee, Holton, Hurter and Vest are all over 40 innings already. Probably not a good sign for late season.

I just do not understand why AJ would just use Montero and skip those BP days and save the pen like you suggested. If I was Montero I would be pissed that all I do is go back and forth to Detroit. How many options does this guy have ? I know they use a special call up but he has been up and down a lot.
