Jake's days as a back up Catcher should be numbered. He can't hit or throw runners out anymore. Just holding the spot until guys in minors hopefully beat him out .

Not seeing much All Star play lately. Pitching terrible, throwing cookies to a good hitting team. Hitting terrible, looking at the slow pitches in the strike zone and swinging at the unhittable pitcher's pitches. Fielding and defense really looking sick. Tigers haven't shown any competitive play for awhile now. Very disappointing. They may not get a lot of All Star play during the All Star game. Tigers are heading the way the Yankees have went lately. Truly pathetic.
