Vest hadn't given up a run since June 15th, Kahnle on the other hand is very concerning.

A deal has to be made for some bullpen arms.

Im always worried by anyone coming in from the pen.
Since June 15th
Pitt, Rays, A’s, twins, wash, Cleve, Rays. Seattle.
Not exactly the best hitting teams.
But Vest has been our best relief pitcher.
He was bad today.

Won 4th game in a row at Omaha 6-1: Malloy had 3 more hits and is batting .336 now. Andy had 2 hits batting .261 now. Lee 2 hits and 2 walks and 3 runs. Three pitchers 8 k’s and 2 BB.
Gibson-Long 4.2 innings 5 K’s 1 bb and zero runs in a rehab start.
Not that excited about it.
Mudhens are off Untill Friday July 18th.

Tigers need to get some serious help for the bullpen before trade deadline. Meadows needs to be given a big break. His offense is terrible but now he is making bad errors on defense. Tigers strike recognition is not good. When the Mariners got a pitch in the strike zone they hit it......HARD.

Good thing I didn't watch the all star game to see how our Tigers did. They all sucked! Our starters gave up 1/2 of the NL runs in 1.2 innings and our hitters went 0-8.
