some good stuff here. She did miss his last start when he gave up 4 earned runs and took the loss.

I honestly hope they trade him this off season. I don't want him on a $400-500M contract when he is on his decline.

Tarik Skubal pitching vs. Nathan Eovaldi on Sunday Night Baseball, Tigers vs. Rangers. Skubal's dominance might be best reflected in these two numbers:
1. He's averaging 11.38 strikeouts per 9 innings, which is best in baseball.
2. He's averaging 1.19 walks per 9 innings, which is best in baseball.

Recapping 2025 MLB Draft with expert Tyler Jennings; Casey Mize, Zach McKinstry join All-Star Game. 60 minutes.
The Detroit Tigers entered the All-Star break with MLB's best record — but a bullpen problem looms large. On this week's episode of Days of Roar, Tigers beat writer Evan Petzold breaks down Detroit's first-half performance, including a season-worse sweep by the Seattle Mariners. If the Tigers want to win the World Series, adding an elite swing-and-miss reliever is essential. We discuss the big names on the trade market. We also take a deep dive into the Tigers' high-risk, high-upside picks on Day 1 of the 2025 MLB Draft with draft expert Tyler Jennings from Just Baseball. Scott Bentley, the host of the Locked On Tigers podcast, returns to Days of Roar to discuss the top four draft picks, as well as Zach McKinstry and Casey Mize joining the All-Star Game as replacement players.

FIVE FOR FRIDAY.

Now that the All-Star Game is over, the Detroit Tigers move into the 2nd half of the season.
In the first couple weeks of July, we started to see some cracks in the roster emerge. In a long season, we have to expect that they won’t get better without some attention paid to fixing them. The goal is to make it to October – and deep into the month.
So what do the Tigers need to address this month by the trade deadline? I’ve got my top 5:

Max Clark on what separates the Tigers from other organizations as far as player development goes.

Suarez practically begging for a trade makes me want that to happen for the right price.

Vierling singles right after. Steals 2nd.
Perez k’s
Dingler soft fly out to cf.

Ump has action on the game.
Doesn’t excuse JB’s bad throw to 1st.

Inning should be over.
3 outs missed.
Greene’s catch.
Runner out of the base line JB’s attempt at a tag.

It is ridiculous that baseball does not review plays like that .
You should not have to challenge that big of a miss.
