article is on Detroit News now (can't access older articles from their mobile site or I'd post here).

article is about how Harbaugh has a weekly call w/Bill Carollo in the Big Ten office to discuss calls he disagrees with. Carollo noted Bolden's ejection against MSU in the article and says he agreed it shouldve been reversed, and that call lead to a rule change allowing the replay official to reverse ejections or penalties for targeting.

so... yeah. I guess we were all right about that one.

I feel pretty bad for you about that one. It obviously led to your punter going full retard.

yes the game would've played out the exact same way if our leading tackler and team co-captain had not been ejected early in the 2nd quarter.

87 days til we get revenge...

If I want to choose between running face first into my flat screen or re-reading that exhaustive, Zapruder-like thread that broke down the hit frame by frame, I'd rather:

100%

But at least I'm not starting threads over here.

I love trolling you spartytards with threads about state on the state board - it's where state threads belong; not here. It's easy and fun and I own every bit of it.

:lmao:

I love reading posts where people say the outcome of the game would have been different if a mediocre linebacker wasn't ejected. Next man up, right? I guarantee you if he was ejected prior to the game, the spread wouldn't have move even half a point.

And no way should the penalty have been reversed - maybe the ejection but definitely not the penalty. he probably should have gotten a delay of game or unsportsmanlike for taking that lap around the stadium.

That call has been the go-to example of that rule going bad in the few cases where an official discusses it.

Because they are so commonplace?

Slim pickin's in this thread then, huh?

Allow me a little license here - i was just mimicking the style of my friend Vic's post. That said, it seems to be pretty clearly implied in the OP here and at the time it happened, it was whined about in multiple threads on both boards (not saying by either of you).

Well, that being said...it totally would have made the difference!
