At 1-0, the Detroit Lions find themselves at a fork in the road with their identity at stake. Lions insider Mike Mady spoke with coach Jim Schwartz, receivers Nate Burleson and Calvin Johnson, and quarterback Matthew Stafford about the perception of Detroit -- and most important, how they perceive themselves.

Well, Burleson is silly, Scheffler in the endzone is pure comedy, Stafford is one hell of a commander in the huddle but looks a lot like one of the little rascals, CJ looks like he's ready to break out of his quiet shell, and I heard Titus was quite the funnyman. I hope the defense is just the opposite, and that the team takes on Schwartz's mentality.
