I watched this piece. It’s pretty darn good. Brought back memories. I watched thatYankees game with my dad.
Mark was so slight of frame. Man it was a different era.
He could have used a limitation on innings pitched as a 21 year old. Different baseball times i guess. I always thought his death was because something fell on him not that he was strangled because his shirt or a piece of clothing got caught.



 
I think Tigers manager Ralph Houk was to blame for his arm troubles.
Fidrych went from 170 innings in the Tigers minors in 1975 to 250 innings in 1976. That is a big jump and pitching every 4 days unlike now every 5 days.
