Michigan@Nebraska Sunday 8pm

Monster, they are well clear of any projection with the play-in game.

Btt bracket showed winner of mich/ILL playing purdue. Did i see it wrong ? I think this win gets them off the play in game . That is a pretty far drop drop a 8 or 9 seed to play in game with a loss .

Maybe it changed. Early in the game, they had the winner of our game against the winner of MSU and whoever wins the right to play MSU. I think it was PSU and Nebraska?

edit: Just checked. Either I read it wrong or it did change. You're right. Purdue, it is. ****...beating them for a second time could push us way up in the NCAA seeding.

That's kinda what he's always been though. He's only a 34% shooter from 3 for his career.

True, but he was 16-68 (23%) from 3 over his previous 18 games, and only had one game over 50% during that stretch (2-2).

Definitely the recruit I'm most excited about for next season. Him and Matthews should give us a lot of athleticism and length.

Yeah, the other guys are typical "maybe they'll pan out, maybe they won't" guys, but those two should be able to make a difference.

PG depth is my biggest concern next year. That and the rumblings about German pro teams trying to get Mo.

Maybe JB will look into a 5th year transfer at PG.

Yeah, he has done pretty well with recruits that he has picked up late in the recruiting cycle, but I'd feel better about some short term depth as well. None of the scouting reports for the incoming guards make me feel warm and fuzzy when it comes to them running the point. They'll already have 8 freshman/sophomores on the roster next year, taking a grad transfer and banking the scholarship for the next season would help the balance.

Really, I'm more worried about Mo making a premature jump to the NBA than going back to Germany. I haven't been plugged in lately, so maybe there are some recent events that have made Germany more likely, but just based on my wild assed speculation I think he has his sights set on the NBA - and one year as the man at Michigan would be his best route.

I agree on Mo, but I'm not worried about the NBA after this season. He isn't on a single mock draft that I have seen.

There's rumors floating that German teams want him, but I think staying at UM is a better option. He definitely will be more featured here.

I definitely don't think it's likely, just more likely than him scrapping the last couple years and heading back to Germany.

I think that would be dumb too. From every NBA draft I have watched, it always seems like the pro European teams really limit young guy's minutes.

Please Mr Wagner 2 more years !!! NCAA IS WAY BETTER Then the German pro league !!!!!!

Can we not play Illinois one time in the noon game, in the 8 v 9 matchup? Every freaking year it feels like it's M v Illinois.

The past four years:

2014 - Friday noon vs Illinois - we had the double bye so this was our 1st game
2015 - Thursday noon vs Illinois
2016 - Thursday noon vs NW
2017 - Thursday noon vs Illinois

Honestly, I think we've played 4 teams in the conference in this tournament since the inception: Illinois, Northwestern, Penn State, Minnesota.
