In recognition of the long holiday week that celebrates both Passover and Easter, we’re providing quicker Detroit Tiger fixes for our readers. Afterall, you’re either waiting for hours in line at the airport or scrambling to get ready for guests.
Every day this week, we’re offering new polls for you to cast your votes and have your say. But just not any.
They’re going to be tough. On purpose.
We’re going to give you 2 choices for each question. One vote only. No substitutions.
The first involves the Tigers’ most famous recent franchise faces. Those are the players considered to be the figurehead of the team and most often highlighted, esp. in team and tv promotions.
You’re going to evaluate each on:
- their contributions and stats
- how well they represented the Tigers
- great moments and memories
- work ethic and team contributions
- personality
- your personal connection with them
Both are considered to be first-ballot Hall of Fame players. They are Miguel Cabrera and Justin Verlander.
Please only consider their contributions to the Tigers and not to other teams.
