Please Note: I will just replace header for each game and keep the thread here.

Both series are best two out of three games. Record does not decide the Midwest league
Home field. I guess it rotates.

High Class A
Midwest League Championship
West Michigan Whitecaps (92-39) vs Cedar Rapids Kernels (72-60)
Game #1: Cedar Rapids @ West Michigan (WM wins 5-3 Final).
Game #2 West Michigan @ Cedar Rapids (WM wins 3-1 Final).
West Michigan Wins Midewest League Championship 2-0.

Box score Game #1
Trailed 3-0 in the 4th. Scored 1 in the fourth and 4 in the fifth to win.
They had 3441 in attendance but I feel if this was at night they would have more.

Game #1 Lakeland @ Daytona……….Lakeland Wins 6-1 Final

Game ones on Sunday against the NFL.
Baseball is dumb.

West Michigan had over 7000 last night on Thursday when they clinched.

Whitecaps win 92 regular season games. Plus 4-0 in the playoffs.
Tied a Team record for wins. But the first team didn’t win the title
Way back in 1997.
Plus the first half with Clark, McGonigle and Birceno they were
44-21.
In the second half without the three stars they were 48-18.
Plus 4-0 in the post season win a league best 7th title.

I guess Jackson Strong was called up from Lakeland and he will get a ring for both Lakeland and West Michigan.

I think there may be a few guys that get 2 rings.

Lake lake Flying Tigers were 75-53 overall. 2nd behind St. Luice who was 77-53. Tigers were 38-26 in the first half , and lost Rainer the high draft pick I think late 1st or early 2nd half and still had a 37-27 record .

Flying Tigers Capture Florida State League Title with Sweep of Daytona

LAKELAND, FL - The Lakeland Flying Tigers captured their first Florida State League title since 2012 with a 8-2 victory over the Daytona Tortugas on Tuesday night in Lakeland.
Stephen Hrustich put the Flying Tigers in front in the 4th inning with an RBI single after a back-and-forth first three innings and Lakeland broke the game open in the 5th as Nick Dumesnil and Jesus Pinto came in to score on a two-out error and pushed the lead to 5-2.
Gabriel Reyes started for the Flying Tigers and surrendered a pair of runs in 4.1 IP before turning it over to the bullpen to finish the job with Pedro Garcia and Logan Berrier shutting out the Tortugas the rest of the way.
The Flying Tigers completed the rare sweep of the Florida State League in 2025 and became just the third team in league history to win both halves of the regular season and the FSL Championship (1995 Daytona, 2024 Palm Beach). Lakeland won 75 games in the regular season and dominated at home with a 44-21 final mark at Publix Field and Joker Marchant Stadium.
The Flying Tigers will be back to defend in April 2026 and fans can get in on the action with Single-Game tickets and Season ticket options going on sale later this offseason at
