I do think your program got off pretty light compared to this. I mean, ND investigated of their own initiative & self reported a handful of guys getting exams and papers written for them. two years of vacated wins? OSU had Tressel knowingly playing ineligible players for a full season, lying to the NCAA, stonewalling the investigation, and they get one (1) year and a post season ban? and its not like they were a clean program under Tressel before that either.

I still think ND should disband their program and burn their school down, but at least on their memorial plaque it could read "they did the right thing, in the end."

Tressel's regime went down without redeeming themselves in any way. sleazy all the way to unemployment.

Exactly. Jim Tressel is a class act, stand up guy. Just look at his track record before he got to Ohio State! He has NEVER done anything wrong. He is a beacon of all that is good and correct.

This quote from one of Tressel's colleagues on Earl Bruce's staff does a damn good job of summing up Tressel:

"In the morning he would read the Bible with another coach. Then, in the afternoon, he would go out and cheat kids who had probably saved up money from mowing lawns to buy those raffle tickets. That's Jim Tressel."

That was regarding how Tressel used to rig prize raffles for the star recruits at OSU's summer camps.
