Way premature with 2:28 in the game to go, but they are down by 10 so....

Notre Dame Sucks!

yeah, they're done. I thought USF would be tough but man - they took it to ND. It also doesn't help, much like our game, that the players are going in and out of the locker room because of the weather.

Brian Kelly is a

They changed it to verses for my area.. What a weird weather day.

While ND was too high at preseason #16, I still think Brian K. is the right guy and will get those knuckleheads turned around. I didn't see the game today so no idea how they lost, but 5 TO's is tough to overcome. Add in the wierdness of the weather and delays and you have a day where anything could happen.

As always, I am wary of ND next week. They almost always bring their A game to Michigan, and they'll be seething after this loss. They're better than they showed today.

Noter dame and it's 'A' game can suck the big dong ....

38-34, 38-0... 38-0

it said it had 5 TOs in this game, for a MINUS 5 turnover margin.

Yikes. I know it was wet out, but USF didn't have trouble with the ball. Kelly obviously tried to do things his team was not ready to do.

Now I'm kinda hoping it's wet out next weekend...

Yeah. I agree with Champ. Its not like turnovers just magically happen. One team causes them and one team allows them to happen and then the other team has to recover the ball. Now sometimes it does come down to an oblong ball just bouncing the right way, but sometimes there are definite reasons for why a turnover happens.

I thought it interesting that ND went with Cryst and not Rhees initially. I think Rhees is the better QB. I think Michigan will be seeing Rhees. I doubt that Michigan will have the benefit of 5 turnovers. When I saw South Florida on their schedule, I knew that USF usually has a really good D. I figured USF had a very good chance at the upset.

Kelly does that sometimes, though. Look at last year where he had Cryst running around like he was Denard Robinson until he got a concussion and had to sit out half the game. We got told how we were lucky that Crist got hurt. Well, it was Kelly that put him in that position.

Next week will be a different game, I'm sure. We'll see how it goes, but I have not been impressed by anything I've seen from BK since he took the ND job. He has done well everywhere else he's been, but those were different jobs.

I was at the UM game so I wasnt watching but pretty sure USF was whooping them before the weather delays. Seems to me the weather delay may have helped ND get back into it. Not positive though.

Kelly's biggest mistake is his enormous ego -- "Jesus" Crist shouldn't have been the starter to begin with.
First games are notoriously misleading in terms of predicting the rest of the season but clearly it would seem noter dame is again a pre-season overrated, media darling.
USFs athleticism was a problem for noter dame, which has been a problem for noter dame since Holtschh left...

My gut is starting to feel an undeserved win for nd next week -- the kind of win that will re-justify the overratedness and cause Hoke-haters to trot out Rich Od stats from the two wins ....

5 TOs gives Ohio* its only national title since Nixon

Yeah I agree I have a uneasy feeling for next weeks game... I was hoping for a ND win even though it is hard for me to root for them ever. Well I really didn't root for them but I thought it would be better for us if ND won... Both teams have plenty to work on for next week.
