I'm surprised he wasn't top 3.

Get StartedOffensively, he didn't do a thing. Yeah, he's a very good defensive player. But I'd argue he's not the 2nd or 3rd best player on the team in defense.
He took one punt back. If you want to win the heisman as a do-it-all guy, you better do it all and do it damn well.
I totally understand that. And I have nothing against Jabrill, he's fantastic. But I think the hype machine carried him to ballot. He's a very good defensive player and all-around dude. But he's not great in coverage and he overruns a ton of plays (Iowa most notably). I think there were more deserving candidates (Pumphrey, Browning).
I reeeally don't think there should have been 2 Oklahoma Sooners in the top 5. That shit is just ridiculous. What big games did these two idiots win? That's right, none. They beat shitty big 12 teams with no defense. Where were the guys from Washington? And I cant believe I'm saying this, but what about Barrett(I know he sucks but he won the big games), or even that kid from Alabama?
The right guy won it, I think, even though he faltered down the stretch. The receiver from Oklahoma is legit. The other three finalists seem to have been pre-ordained. Buckeye offense sputtered too badly in a few games, most notably The Game, for JT to have played his way in.
All 5 could have been changed out for another 5. No one was spectacular this year.
