Pistons Trade Ivey

This just shows the Pistons probably were not going to pay Ivey.

Huerter last 2 seasons his shooting percentage has really dipped.
Only at 31% from three this year.

Hate just giving away Ivey like this. After the way all these restricted free agents in the NBA worked out in this last offseason, I think Detroit could have kept Ivey at a reasonable price.

Depends on what you think is reasonable for a backup tweener guard.

This trade was from 2 developments. Duran blowing up and Ivey not blowing up. No way we're they going to be able to resign both. Especially with Thompson trending up like he is and needing a deal the following season.

I think he wanted out. Apparently, coach told him early season he was going to be the 9th in the rotation, and he was unhappy with his minutes. Plus, his late minutes defense was not good. With that and him being an RFA, trading him was best.
