RHP Reese Olson has been placed on the 60-day injured list following a right shoulder labral repair. The surgery was performed on February 2 by Dr. Keith Meister. Olson will be out for the 2026 season.

No surprise, but nothing said by Scott Harris or AJ Hinch this morning indicated that Kevin McGonigle, with only 206 plate-appearances above Single A, has any legit shot at making the big-league team. Tigers will want him to get at-bats and glove work at SS and 3B at Toledo.

Everyone..do yourself a favor..before you decide what they are going to do with Kevin McGonigle..let him play..know who is in charge if McGonigle is gonna be on the big league club..AJ Hinch..just like he was influential in getting Framber signed..watch what Hinch is saying..
Start watching who plays SS on road trips..thats where it will begin..it gives McGonigle a chance to face decent spring pitching in his first 2 AB..the more he does...the more opportunity he earns in the last 2 weeks of ST.
