sometimes I think the people that write these fanside articles don't have a clue. He says that they need to cut down on strikeouts, and in his next point, he says they should sign Schwarber. Greene was 2nd in MLB in strikeouts, Schwarber was 3rd, only 4 Ks behind him. Also, I don't see any way they sign Bregman....at least I hope not.4 lineup changes Tigers must make for 2026 if they want to make World Series run.![]()
4 lineup changes Tigers must make for 2026 if they want to make World Series run
The Detroit Tigers' lineup at times was more friendly than fearsome in 2025, necessitating four key changes to build a World Series-caliber unit for 2026.motorcitybengals.com
A simple recipe.

I get all of my Tigers info from youI agree with your assessment of Motor City Bengals Tigers Blog. They are not as good as Bless You Boys Tigers Blog who have Brandon Day and several other people who write good articles about the Tigers.
The Detroit media are putting pay walls on some of their stories, especially the Detroit News. The Freep did this earlier this season and then stopped, but this week they have gone back to using it. Mlive isn't as good imo. ESPN has people who make up grandiose trade and free agent ideas and are out of touch with most teams, except for the glamour teams.
If you or anyone else who reads this can come up with some suggestions for me to add to my searching for Tigers news I would appreciate them. Thanks.

I wish his defense was good enough to play SS. I will be happy if he was the every day 2B for the next 6+ years.Don’t be surprised if Tigers make bold move with this top prospect in 2026.![]()

The Detroit Tigers have a prospect banging on the door of the bigs in Kevin McGonigle, and Scott Harris's recent comments all but confirm he'll arrive early.motorcitybengals.com

I know what you're saying, but let's hope that Bryce Rainer comes back stronger and healthier than ever. I think he is that shortstop of the future for the next 10 years once he makes it to the team. I have mixed feelings about Bregman and mostly hope they don't go for him unless they only offer a 3 year contract at the most, with a similar salary of what he had with the red sox. Or, if McGonigle does come up and plays second base, his average defense should improve, and maybe with matchups, he and Keith can switch between 2nd and 3rd.I wish his defense was good enough to play SS. I will be happy if he was the every day 2B for the next 6+ years.
