Is there a Tigers Right Handed pitcher besides Verlander that keeps a runner on first close?

You can't expect him to keep throwing over to first.


You don't have to, just step off, or look over more, let the runner think you might not go to the plate.

Our pitchers are just plain bad at holding runners period.

Scherzer used to have that nifty 3rd-to 1st pickoff move, but it's a balk now.

Scherzer misses that nifty fake to third and throw to first.
