I think he needs some more work in Toledo. He has started 6 games there and has an ERA of 9.23

Boyd needs work. Half the offense needs work. Maybe a switch will help. But honestly did not see his 2021 numbers.

I don't know what happened to him. His last season (2019) in AA he was lights out. 11-5, 2.56 ERA, 0.980 WHIP, 148K in 133 innings

His biggest problem seems to be giving up HRs.

2019 he gave up 0.5 HR per 9 IP
this year, 3.8 HR/9 which is beyond terrible.

For reference, Boyd is giving up 0.9 HR/9 this year and 2.2 HR/9 last year.
