Based on his lame attempt to add players at the deadline, I think we learned that he doesn't think the team is ready to compete yet. I don't see them adding any significant free agents. I think this off season hinges on weather or not they sign Skubal to an extension. If they can't, I see them trading him for a package of a combo of major league players and high end prospects.

Best case probably Skubal getting traded at the deadline next year to a team that needs that caliber starter to get over the hump, and willing to empty their farm system of top prospects....but that risks him getting injured during the season...followed by free agency.

.....maybe better to shop him in the off-season.... but I simply do not trust Harris to do the right thing on Skubal....or anybody else.

He should have been fired for the Cobb signing...15M right down the toilet, when key hitters everyone blames for going into a slump (and rightfully so) are payed close to league minimum(800k).

The whole team has pressed, but Greene hit 10 HRs in that time. Boom or bust, extremely frustrating guy, no one on the team hit in September.

I get being aggravated with the output from a team once 25 games above .500, I would also suggest we look back at the prediction thread and no one expected us to win the division.

Then you add losing Olson and Jobe to that.

I find Harris not adding a quality SP in the face of that more aggravating than anything.

Frankly I’ll be rooting for the tigers to lose tomorrow as I really don’t want to see anymore of this strand 15,000 runners a game putrid blows dead goats offense. + when you blow a 15 game lead you really don’t deserve to be playing in OCT.

At min the offense needs to upgrade 3rd and SS with better hitters. Get Sweeney, Rogers and Ibanez outta here, Beaz should only play vs lefties and serve as a late inning defensive replacement. Let Torres walk and put Keith back as the main 2B guy.
