Well, we will see what this team is made of going back to Detroit. True, at the beginning of the series we would have been happy with a split. However, after watching two completely dominant performances by our SP to only be tied at 1 is a win for Boston. Honestly, we came pretty close to being down 2-0. And with the way it happened there is no way that clubhouse feels good right now.

Our team should know better then to let there best most experienced post season player beat us. Apparently Jim does not know how good Papi is.. I was pleading with the tv not to let him swing at anything good on the first pitch..i knew he was swing if it as close..i know it..close it was right where he could pull it..
God only a tiger managed team could give this game away...

We have a day off to cool our heads and put things in perspective here. Yea tonight sucked ass, and we probably should be up 2-0. However don't forget that while we wasted a good pitching performance tonight, Boston also wasted one in game 1 with Lester. We have the pitching advantage in the next two games (I'm sorry but Peavy does not scare me with as much as we have seen him) and we are at home. Take 2 of 3 at home, and we can beat these guys.

After Sherzer was pulled, the Tigers would have blown an 8 run lead. No doubt in my mind.

Dude I understand you're angry. We're all upset at what happened tonight, but this series is over now in your mind? It went from being "over" in the Tigers favor to being "over" in the Red Sox favor? It was game 2 dude!! We split in Boston, which is what we all wanted. It's not ideal how it happened, but to say the series can't be won now is pretty pathetic. Did you think we could win back to back game 5's in Oakland? How about game 5 in Yankee stadium in 2011? This is baseball and anything can happen as evidenced by tonight. Tigers still have a very fair shot at this series.

Oakland is not Boston... Until Jim proves he can beat teams other then Oakland and the Yankees in a Tiger uniform in the playoffs I will believe it.. We had them dead.. That homer and win feels like Gibson's homer for the dodgers to me. The A's caved after that in game 1. Up 2-0 this series is over Boston would have scored just a few runs asking questions.. Now they have life and only need to win 1 in Detroit not 2...I feel if we don't sweep its over and we will look back to yet another blown chance to win a WS.. Dude this game was over up 5-1 and Max dealing... Being the underdog you have to hold this lead.
