I’m hoping they throw a shit ton of $$ at Clowney on a one year deal. Instantly improves the pass rush and there would be no long term cap implications. Some good pass rushers should hit the market next year.

Think we need 12 mil for rookies. That only leaves 17 mil cap space. He's going to go to Cleveland or miami on a 1 year deal.

Every year is different and its really a new team considering normal nfl roster turnover

Right combo of coaches and players and health can make it happen anywhere.

Lions have plenty of talent and proven coaches. No point to be negative about that

And its not like i think you know more about guys like okwara or collins or anyone really more than quinn and the lions staff. Watching some youtube and reading some scouting reports doesnt cut the mustard to have a good opinion and why it was a good or bad pick

You look for the reasons why they could help. Clearly reasons okwara, collins, nick williams can help..we will see how it plays out.

Also just because someone hurt one or two years doesnt mean they will be hurt every year. Hand could be perfectly healthy the next two seasons

So its not actually 12 million. Due to top 51 it knocks 620 off eqch signings. Its like 6 to 7 million in space

Hand graded in top 10 per pff in 2018. He got good consistent pressure. That matters more than thrbsack total. He had 3 not 2 by the way in only 12 games in 2018

Hand improves the pass rush. Also by the way Robinson, Strong and Atkins who played a lot had 1.5 combined..so one guy doubles 3 guys production

Nick Williams had 6 by the way which is good for interior dline

So 9 -10 for williams and hand combined potential versus 1.5 for robinson,strong and atkins. Thats 8.5 more sacks. Shhh hughes shhhh

Shelton had 3. Harrison and Daniels had 3 combined. A wash there. Shelton was brought for run d but has more pass rush skills than harrison. Shelton is also a former 1st round pick

NFL.com's Lance Zierlein compared Wisconsin WR Quintez Cephus to Indianapolis Colts WR Zach Pascal.

Comparing any player to Pascal is a bit of a deep cut. Pascal is a depth receiver for the Colts who works best as a fourth WR and blocker. But it's a 5th round pick what are you going to do.

While many small school players have been hurt by the lack of Pro Days due to the Covid-19 outbreak, New Mexico State held their Pro Day on March 10, and Huntley put on a show.

Here are his results:

4.37 40-yard, 21 bench reps, 39.5″ vert, 131″ broad, 7.19 3-cone, 4.25 shuttle

Huntley’s 4.37 40-yard dash time was faster than any running back at the NFL Combine, and though Pro Day 40 numbers can be slightly elevated, his overall numbers still paint a picture of an explosive accelerator.
