Japan is the Host Nation and started the competition off with a sloppy 30-10 win over a poor Russia club. Japan is the 10th ranked team in the world and Russia is the 20th ranked team.

Rules of the World Cup

Quarterfinal teams. Not sure the games yet.

From pool A.
Ireland . They are through in first or second
These two teams play each other unless typhoon cancel it. Japan only needs 2 points to take over first. Scotland needs to win and get 4 try?s I think..
Japan.
Scotland .

Pool B. No shock here.
1. New Zealand (NZ game called off because of Typhoon).
2. South Africa.

Pool C.

1. England 17 points.
2. France 15 points.
(The game between England and France has been. Called off because of the
Typhoon)

Pool D. Again these were the two favorites in the group.
1. Australia 16 points
2. Wales 14 points.
( Wales have a layup this weekend and will take the group as the Wallabies have already played four games).
