Detroit Lions Breakdown Podcast Episode #135: We?re Onto the Offseason. 55 minutes.

The Lions season mercifully ended on Sunday with a 23-20 loss to the Green Bay Packers. The team heads into the offseason with a 3-12-1 record and the 3rd overall pick in the NFL Draft. This week Erik and Joe begin to discuss the coaching turnover and the impending player turnover.

DC Paul Pasqualoni and OL coach Jeff Davidson avoid the firing squad by ?stepping away from coaching?.

4 other assistant coaches, and 2 strength and conditioning coaches were not so lucky.

Who might replace Pasqualoni at defensive coordinator.

Pride Of Detroit Lions Ask POD: Offseason mailbag returns!
It?s the offseason and we?re here to guide you through it.

It?s officially the offseason for the Detroit Lions and that means the healing can begin. Detroit has already rid themselves of several coaches, which is (hopefully) just one of many drastic changes to the team in 2020.

With hope now slowly creeping into the fanbase again, it?s time to return to our regular weekly mailbag.

If you?re unfamiliar with the mailbag, most of the questions will be answered in the final segment of our weekly podcast?which we stream live over our Twitch channel every Sunday at 8 p.m. ET. However, any leftover questions will be rolled over into a mailbag article sometime early next week. It?s the offseason and we need content. That? where you step in.

So in the comment section below, send us any and all of your questions. We?ll gladly answer any Lions questions you have, but we?ll answer questions on literally any topic. We love getting silly, talking about food or movies or anything but wrestling.

Submit your questions in the comment section below or via Twitter using the hashtag #AskPOD.

Pride Of Detroit Lions Podcast: 3 biggest offseason decisions facing the Detroit Lions. 65 minutes.
The PODcast crew identifies the Lions? biggest decisions facing the franchise.

Last Monday, Detroit Lions general manager Bob Quinn took the podium for the first time since draft weekend. Fans looking for guidance and hope for the future of the franchise were likely left a little discombobulated after Quinn?s 40 minute session.

Quinn didn?t seem to have a clear answer for what went wrong in 2019, and his optimistic outlook was hard to share given his weak examples.

This week on the PODcast, we break down Quinn?s presser and try to figure out just what exactly he was talking about.

Then, we play general manager and look at the three biggest decisions facing the Detroit Lions this offseason. How will the Lions turn things around? What exactly do the Lions need to accomplish to make a 3-12-1 team suddenly a contender?

To finish out the podcast, we take your questions, talk about the NFL Wild Card games and try to figure out how to end the show without an established sign-off.

This week on the PODcast:
Bob Quinn said a lot of things, but was any of it worthwhile?

It?s okay to blame injuries, Bob, just don?t blame them for everything. And certainly don?t say you aren?t going to blame them when you fully intend to.

Where is this foundation the Lions claim to have?

Breaking down the Lions? top three offseason decisions:
Can the Lions keep their offensive line together?
And what does the future of Jarrad Davis hold?

Mailbag tackles our favorite moments from Wild Card weekend, exposes our lack of movie knowledge, and places bets on the Lions? third overall pick.

Jeremy doesn?t know how to end a podcast.
