The Tigers were 77-0 in games where they led after the 7th inning last year.

This year we are 10-6.

There have been several games that have been absolutely brutal and heartbreaking losses. They all count for the same in the loss column, but some losses mean more, you know the starting pitchers can't be too happy right now with the rest of the team.

I don't buy that some losses mean more.

The Rangers were 11th in least blown saves and the Cards were 26th. So, there were 4 teams that blew more saves than the World Series Champs.

i think he means that they hurt more emotionally, though like you pointed out great teams overcome it to start winning again. we just have to wait and see how our team reacts to repeated blown saves in a short period.
