I guess he was cool this preseason, although I wonder who blew the coverage that led to welker's touchdown. If they have that much trust in him then I'm gonna sit and hope he justifies all that faith they have in him.
Wright, Berry, McDonald, Smith...they will all make good plays this year and they will all get toasted at times. That's the case with most team's #2, nickel, and dime players. The keys to the CBs are Houston staying healthy, the DL getting consistent pressure, and the run defense being above average. As long as that happens and these guys are able to play well more often than not, overall the team will be solid and overcome the bad plays.
