As a liberal hack Democrat, I am torn between my love of socialism, and my absolute love of royal, but more importantly my own, elitism.

None of her adult girlfriends are in her wedding party; but they're certainly expected to be in attendance; so if they would join in on the dress down, we're talking Priyanka Chopra, Abigail Spencer, Serena Williams, Millie McIntosh, Sarah Rafferty...that's not a bad menu.

The guys can stay in their royal tuxedos, if they want to, but if other people are disrobing, one would figure that Harry wouldn't be able to resist joining in, given his history.

This Royal wedding is pretty ubiquitous; like, for example, right before the Super Bowl, even people who couldn't care less about football would probably be able to tell a person if asked who was going to be in it, because it's so in the news; probably almost as many people who don't care about college basketball could tell you who was going to be in the Final Four right before it happens, or at least two of the teams, again, because it's so in the news.

Serena Williams is one of the world's most famous people; Priyanka Chopra is a smokin' hot chick on a pretty popular show, Quantico, Abigail Spencer is another hot chick who's making her name as a Hollywood actress. I've seen a couple episodes of Quantico; didn't really get into it, but I certainly know what it is.

I saw a few episodes of Suits, didn't really get into that much either but I know Meghan Markle was on that show and another actress on that show, Sarah Rafferty, became her good friend.

So these are all pretty famous to very famous women already, and it's just been in the news that these are Meghan Markle's best girlfriends.

This is something of a local story here in Hollywood also, so it may be getting even more coverage where I am than it is even getting nationally.

Also overtime I probably am more exposed to names of her Hollywood girlfriends than people elsewhere.

EDIT; it's just like in Detroit, the local news may cover more stories about the auto industry, and like where you are for example, the local news may cover more stories of siblings and first cousins giving birth to children with webbed hands and feet and various other birth defects.

I knew who Williams was but not one else. Maybe I know the faces more than the names. I watched Suits when it first started maybe 5-6 episodes.
