Boston and LA trade

I get the feeling Beckett will be rejuvenated in LA and not throw purpose batting practice pitches in game which sure seemed like the case the past couple of months.
He is still a complete asshole and now back in the NL I would like nothing better than to see a pitcher jam/throw at him or inside and on his hand(s).

Crawford imo, was near great to great in tampa, but under the 24/7 microscope in boston never got going, part mind, part injuries,

The guess here is that Gonzalez also didn't like the bs with valentine, and being a west coast guy must have let it be known he wished to be out of boston.

The dodgers have one of those huge money deals with tv, so as much as it's a boatload of money, they will have it and then some.

Found a couple of links regarding the prospects the redsox got in the deal.

Blockbuster deal doesn't guarantee Dodgers anything — just ask Marlins, Angels or Tigers fans.

I agree, KC. I think they will all do better in LA, I just doubt they'll ever live up to what they cost. It's a different market and a different strategy there right now though, so the move does make sense for the "we're not the same old Dodgers" campaign.

and since then....

Don't ask Bobby V if he's 'checked out,' or he'll 'punch you in the mouth'.
