Decker Extension

https://www.prideofdetroit.com/2020...igns-contract-extension-detroit-lions-details

Really 4 year 60 million extension with tack on year. Plus the 5th year option year.

https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/detroit...or Decker signed a 6,a cap hit of $10,350,000.

Cap hits 8.3 in 2020, 14.5 in 2021, 16.5 in 2022, 15.45 in 2023, 15.2 million in 2024. After 2022 the dead cap is less than the cap hit by a good amount. So 3 more years of Decker for sure and should play out the final 2 hopefully. Not too bad cap hits. Pretty even

Those workout bonus's have always been stupid. Pay a guy just to show up. NFL is just lazy.

Its not much and they do alot of work in April, May and June typically. The big money is from training camp and game performance

Maybe not in football terms but it's a pretty penny. You could make a nice living with workout bonus's. I have some calls to make.
