Detroit did get quite lucky.

When it was 2-1, Brome (and I think Zadina) got caught in the offensive zone standing still which led to a 3 on 1 by Florida which they botched.

But overall, these last 2 games is the kind of effort this team needs to be 'competitive'. Smith actually playing a physical game and forechecking is great to see.


Too bad Glendening got hurt (check to head). Will likely mean Filppula is back in lineup.
