So does this mean that the Tigers are still doing better than a lot of teams revenue wise? Aren't most of those extra picks given to the lowest revenue teams in the league?
 
That means most teams are in the same boat as Detroit 3 picks or fewer in the top 100.
 
So they have some players there at the draft and 3 of the 4 are pitchers. I'm afraid they will be waiting some time.

There are 14 teams with more picks than DET in the first 3 rounds. For a team rebuilding, that is not a good sign.

There is only one, the Twins, that have more than 4 (Top 100). So it's not like everyone has boat load of picks. They don't have more because they traded guys away instead of letting them hit FA. So a prospect from a trade or draft .. does it really matter?
 
I really wanted Vaughn. Anyway, these central teams KC, CHI and Detroit will be picking top 10 for awhile.
