Fairley

Guy has played really well recently. I hope he stays healthy and builds on it.

His development MIGHT allow us to trade Suh soon.

Fairley has played well but in no terms does that mean we trade Suh. Im not sure how to work our current cap situation but Suh, Stafford, and CJ are all staying. They will rework deals or fill in holes elsewhere with late round scrubs but those guys will be here. Expect both Durant and Levy gone replaced with Whitehead and Lewis. Also dont be surprised if burleson is gone or brought back as cheap as possible. The dline will probably be hit hard. wouldnt be surprised to see Avril gone and KVB and we resign Hill and Jackson. Next year could be a rough looking roster with a lot of young guys and players that shouldnt be starting.

so....same as last X # of years...AWESOME!!!!

Yea we are pretty screwed going forward. The way the cap numbers ended up shaking out screwed us and our bloated contracts from being terrible for so long. To many big long term contracts to young players. Then they end up being great and we have to pay big money to keep them or you blow up the team and start over which nobody wants. I mean you could trade Cj, Staff, and Suh each and just stock a bunch of first round picks but you would never get that value back.

Suh and Fairley are dominant we just have crap at DE to clean up when QB's are running for their lives.

Hopefully all our guys move to Colorado in the off-season. At least they can't get arrested there...for pot anyway...

Ya....4.5 sacks when suh gets all the doubles. Hes incredible.

He's a DT for fuck sakes. His job is not to get sacks, it's to be "disruptive". He's played excellent the last few games and beyond.
Even the guys on the NFL Network have noticed.

Brian Baldinger - " He's been the most disuptive DT in the league besides JJ watt ". That speaks volumes when you hear that from former NFL players.

Idiots judge DT's based solely on sacks.

Oh, what a suprise.

when did i base it solely on sacks? hes has 3 fucking good games in 2 years. 3....whoopidy doo. he has 4.5 sacks when Suh gets all the doubles. ALL OF THEM. when youre facing singles an entire year and you still have less sacks than Suh....youre not doing all that good. Baldinger is a bufoon....ya...hes so distruptive a rookie qb put 30+ points on your defense. wow....our d is awesome.

^^^^^^SEE ABOVE^^^^^^

Those are your words. Your sole reason for ripping Fairley is his sack total. Meaning you are basing his ability on that number. If you have more to offer the conversation, then do it.

Yeah hughes... Add only brilliant observations and suggestions like fairleys been playing well and they should trade suh.

You can't say someone has been playing well?? Why?

And....IMO...they ABSOLUTELY should look into trading Suh. Not because of talent, but because of their cap situation and the fact they could get a pretty good haul in return....trading Suh and keeping the MUCH cheaper Fairley and SLH and adding the additional picks would do this team a WORLD of good.

Name ONE other player the Lions could REALISTICALLY trade that would bring the return that Suh would?

They aren't moving Staff or CJ....we all know that.
