Football Signing Day

Great news is our 5-Star QB, JJ McCarthy, has already signed. We could have three talented LBs coming in, but there have been some rumblings about Branden Jennings signing elsewhere. Solid OL recruits to develop come with this class as well.

Unfortunately we have some bad news coming today. Our second highest recruit, WR Xavier Worthy, looks like he's flipping to Bama. Our highest ranked DL recruit, Quintin Somerville, is flipping to UCLA.

For the second straight class, we'll be signing zero DTs. That makes three out of the last four years this staff has failed to sign a DT. This is a huge problem.

We have one 3-Star, close to 4-Star, CB in this class.

Now this staff has to find a way to bring in some DTs and CBs before this recruiting period is over. Close to 90% of the top 300 will be gone after today, so pickings are going to be slim.

Rumors are swirling that the defensive coaches were very silent today. Some are thinking there will be a total revamp on that side of the ball. This very well might've led to the 2 flips that Michigan had on that side of the ball.

It's really not that much time. February is right around the corner. Might have to rely on the transfer portal. There's only two 4-star DTs left to recruit. We're trying to flip one from MSU and fighting with BC for the other. BC is favored to get him at the moment. Ceyair Wright appears to be our only shot at signing a 4-star CB. Fighting with USC for him.
