Indians lead 1-0 in the Bottom of the first after a leadoff HR by Leonys Martin off Jordan Zimmerman.

INDIANS

CF Leonys Martin.

3B Jose Ramirez.

LF Jake Bauers.

1B Carlos Santana.

DH Hanley Ramirez.

RF Tyler Naquin.

C Roberto Perez.

2B Brad Miller.

SS Eric Stamets.

RHP Corey Kluber, 0-2, 5.23.

TIGERS

2B Josh Harrison.

RF Nicholas Castellanos.

1B Miguel Cabrera.

LF Nick Goodrum.

3B Jermeir Candelario.

DH Christin Stewart.

CF Mikie Mahtook.

C Grayson Greiner.

SS Jordy Mercer.

RHP Jordan Zimmerman, 0-0, 0.66 ERA.

Tigers tie it up on the bottom of the 1st on an RBI single from Goodrum. The tigers were helped by a throwing error by the Indians SS.

Miggy also should have drawn a walk that would have led to a bases loaded nobody out situation, but the umpire called a pitch clearly outside as strike 2. Miggy swung at the exact same pitch next to strike out and had words with the home plate umpire.

A 2 run bomb by Miller. No doubter on an 86 mph 1-1 pitch from Zimmerman.

That double that Goodrum couldn't come up with really hurt.

I'll blame that 2 runs on Niko. A LF should catch that.

Zimmersuck is back and looks like the Tigers are going to drop this one.

Well...our first place run was good while it lasted. And if someone can explain to me why Mikie Mahtook is on the roster, that would be great. He is chasing Chris Davis for the hitless streak record.

I have a bad feeling the Tigers will go 3-16 against Cleveland this year. This might be the first of many beat downs.

Mahtook is 0-31 dating back to last season. I know there are a lot of guys struggling offensively but this guy can't hit and can't play the field.

They might go 3 and 16 their next 19 games too.
First 10 games might have been the highlight of the season. Hope not.

Day games just don’t work for me, and I suspect mahtook will be getting the boot when Jones is ready to come back, it’s a damn shame the guy looked ok in spring camp. Puts too much pressure on himself to preform perhaps idk but his chances may be up now

On the bright side only 57 more wins to match last years total! Not bad really with 151 to go
