And Stafford has 30 more TDS than Cutler last 4 years (this includes lots of short fields for Cutler from Chicago's defense and Forte running down the field to set up TDS). It's not just yards.

Yards are first downs. Most of the time. Long TD passes are great too and a ton of yards. You just lost the argument boom. More yards is a good thing obviously. Yards represent first downs and long drives.

And Stafford being our offense and our offense doing well for most the past 4 years is because of Stafford. He's a good QB. Cutler can't carry a team like Stafford. Cutler needs way more weapons and he can't even succeeed with more weapons. Still turnover prone.

Plus Cutler is in his prime the last 4. Remember he was drafted 2006. Stafford just reaching his prime. Stafford before his prime was better than Cutler in his prime.

In no way shape or form does stafford have more help. You have Bennett, Marshall, Jeffery, and an awesome recieving back in forte. We have calvin and tate. With previous years only having calvin.

they have a 2nd rd WR in Jeffrey, we took a 2nd rd wrs in titus and broyles.

forte is better than Reggie but neither run game is a strong argument. Our run game was great last year to support Stafford and he still shit the bed.

Bennet vs all world Pettigrew and ebron. 2 more 1st rd TEs for Stafford. Add in faurias TD production.

our oline has been better than theirs.

you cant say Stafford hasn't been given support....its a running joke on here how much help we keep trying to give him.

Also, cutler didn't have that support his early years there when he was winning...their WR corps was awful for years.

Saw a telling stat in another group im in on Facebook. Cutler has almost double the turnover ratio vs Stafford. In no way are they even close to the same QB in any way.

1. Agree. STAFFORD seems like a pretty cool guy. Cutler is a giant douche.

3. Yes and no. Cutler came into a decent situation.....Stafford took over a minor league team as a rookie. Stafford may have more losses.....he's also played on monumentally worse teams. What you just did was compare Alan Trammell's career record to Brad Ausmus's......Trammell had zero shot at being a winning manager after taking over what was AT BEST a AAA team in 2003, while Ausmus had zero shot at being a losing manager. Cutler took over a winning football team after 3 years in Denver.

4. Eh....I guess.....but again, Bears had some pretty good teams in Cuntlers times.
5. 1 win is better.....but not much.
6. No way. Hall is better looking.

Then when we disagree with the help around stafford even after weve commited resources to the likes of best dwill titus broyles cj burleson pettigrew ebron bush bell leshoure ridick....and the consensus is "we had nothing"....then you dont get to win both arguments. Either:

1 mayhew blows at commiting THAT much to the offense and having "nothing" around stafford

Injuries for the weapons. Burleson, Pettigrew(2010/2011) Young produced at times. Young went crazy and Broyles kept getting hurt. Best got hurt which screwed our rushing/pass catching RB for most of 2011 and 2012. The offense was good with them and Stafford under Linehan. Mayhew built a proper offense. You act like the offense was garbage. Despite Young/Broyles/Best/Leshoure's problems, we had a good offense. Great job Mayhew and Stafford.

It's funny now when Mayhew hits gold with Tate, the offense gets worse. Mainly Oline regression and injuries still though. Stafford doing well. This offense can still explode. Great job on the offense and defense still Mayhew. And the coaching choices.
