Tigers - Twins Player

All 9 tigers hitters put the ball in play the first time through the order and didn't get 1 hit. This pitcher isn't fooling them. He's just been lucky

Fudge muffins. Hitting issues. I thought after last night we would start hitting.

Most of those 9 weren't hit good. Just lazy fly balls and a pop up or two.

The Tigers have placed INF Gio Urshela on the 10-day injured list with a right hamstring strain. As a corresponding move, INF Buddy Kennedy has been recalled from Triple A Toledo.

Buddy Kennedy is 25, had a couple cups of coffee with Arizona where he didn’t hit as you’d suspect. Was claimed by Oakland in September, St Louis in October and Detroit in February. Solid year at AAA last year. Probably a career fringe guy, but here is his next shot.

Jason Foley is now 2nd in the American League in Saves (6), only trailing Clay Holmes from the Yankees (8).

Tigers' bullpen ERA thru 20 games...
Foley 0.00
Miller 1.74
Vest 1.80
Holton 1.80
Chafin 2.08
Faedo 1.42
Wentz 1.17
Lange 1.50
Overall (excluding Zach McKinstry): 9-4, 1.43 ERA in 75 1/3 innings.

Entering today's game, the Tigers bullpen leads the Majors with a 1.67 ERA (75.2 IP/14 ER), a 1.00 WHIP and a .171 opponent batting average.

The first 15,000 fans at Comerica Park next Saturday will receive a Dan Dickerson 25th season bobblehead!

I just don’t get how he can’t hold up on a ball so far outside.

C'mon Tork - people are going to think you're not a good defender.

Of course Meadows pop ups on 1st pitch with 1 out 2nd and 3rd. Way to kill a rally.
