Game 5: Panthers @ Lions Thread

First game since 1962 (Steelers) the lions offense with 3 passing td?s and 3 rushing Td?s in the same game.

Impressive offensive effort today considering we're missing our most reliable receiver. I don't remember the exact stats from last year when he was out, but I don't think we did that well. I could be wrong.

Not too worried about the D. When Branch is back, they'll be humming again. Their effort today was enough to beat most teams if the offense plays well.

Mosley out for the year. Torm Acl. :(

Dang. Was an injury risk and terrible luck. Good player, feel bad for the guy he can't catch a break and be healthy

Jacobs fine (and 3 picks now) but a trade for a vet CB is worth it too.

CGJ and Moseley hurt. Branch hurt but hopefully back soon. All the secondary additions except Sutton. We need Sutton big time.

Jacobs and Harris doing well. They did fine during the 8-2 stretch too

Moseley tore his right ACL yesterday. A year after tearing his left ACL.

Bummer, at least these guys were only 1 year contracts.

That is insane bad luck. What did he play?.2 plays and tears his other ACL?? That?s crazy. Too bad. Hope he comes back from it. He was clearly well liked?.guys were really upset when he went down. Bring him back on a minimum, no guarantee salary deal next year.

Awesome to see multiple 90's on BOTH sides of the ball.

Love how the Lions can win multiple ways. Passing check, rushing check, defense check

Really looking forward to these next two games

3-1 Tampa and now 3-2 Ravens on the road. Good tests to help this team get better

Hopefully St Brown, Gibbs and Branch can all play and Decker, Jackson and Reynolds all heal up too

4th in PPG offense, 15th in PPG defense

7 takeaways (above average) and 6 turnovers so only +1 so it's not turnover driven

3 games, really. We'd own the tiebreaker with GB because of head to head so......

Just keep winning. 10 wins almost assures winning the North this year, as bad as GB, CHI and MINN are. Shit, 9 wins probably does.

Splitting the next 2 on the road and then crushing the Raiders at home before the bye gets us to 6-2. That's a GREAT spot to be. Get a bye week. Get healthier. Get 2 weeks to prepare for a tough trip to the Chargers.

This is Campbell's 3rd year. Each year, his teams have drastically improved in the 2nd half of the season.

Year 1 - 0-8 Outscored -110
3-5-1 Outscored -32

Year 2 - 2-6 Outscored -46
7-2 Outscored +72

Year 3 - ???

If we improve in the 2nd half......this could be a 13 or 14 win team that is fighting for home field THROUGHOUT the playoffs. I know that seems like a dream scenario.....but shit....with a little luck.....why not??

Put me in the Hughes camp where Harris in coverage feels like a big play waiting to happen for our opponents.

Haven't heard much on Jonah Jackson. He left the game with a walking boot... which could mean absolutely nothing.

Vataii back so Glasgow could shift to LG... but would be nice if we could get our oline healthy for once.
