Gordon fails another drug test

Josh Gordon failed another drug test and is subject to a one year suspension according to Adam Schefter on Twitter.
 
Alcohol is banned??? Or is that an error in the report and they meant to put weed?

Gordon tested positive for alcohol, a source said, confirming a report by Pro Football Talk. The failed test is the latest in a long line of setbacks for Gordon, whose future in Cleveland and the NFL now will be in question.

Then his NFL career is absolutely over. Who the hell would take a chance on a guy who isn't even allowed to have a beer now that's he's proven he failed that test as well.

At a minimum, non guaranteed contract, of course. That guy will get many more chances......just none that is worth any real $$$.
 
Biggest waste of talent I have ever seen. Gordon is one of the top WRs in this league with shitty QBs throwing his way. If you know that you can't drink or smoke, YOU DON'T FUCKING DO IT! Don't even chance it. What a fucking moron.

And I disagree with over reacting to this. Drinking, especially for addicts of other drugs, is a very easy way to slip back into it. Normally, I would say that Weed isn't addicting, but it's obvious that this kid has an issue with it.
 
Weed can be addicting, bro. I have witnessed it firsthand...trust me.
 
I'd give Gordon a tryout in 2016 if he's clean. You wouldn't have to guarantee anything with him, he'd only be 26, and he has legit #1 talent.

While he clearly has maturity issues.....it's not uncommon for guys in their early 20's to be complete morons but figure things out as they get older.

As of right now he won't be a FA until the 2017 season. If he gets suspended for a year I would assume he won't be a FA until 2018?
