Jeno Smith got knocked the f#(k out!!!

Why, as a QB, would you ever fight a teammate? Do they (Geno and Cam newton) not realize that getting hit in the face or hitting somebody with your fists is likely to end in an injury that could threaten your season and career? Not only that, but what team wants a leader that is getting involved in fights with his own guys?

it doesn't sound like a fight...it sounds like that LB used his face as a punching bag!

This reminds me a lot of the Titus Young incident a few years ago, where he sucker punched (was it Delmas?) in the weight room.

Rumor has it that Smith threw the first punch, but missed his target...

Seriously tho, I am damn glad to see the Lions have seemingly gotten past their 'Offseason drama' phase they had a few years ago when they were in the headlines every week for some BS. This coaching staff IMO is LIGHTYEARS ahead of the Schwartz staff in terms of managing a team and being professional. Its a big reason why I think the Lions have a decent shot at repeating their success this year (record wise), and making the playoffs in back to back years for the first time in almost 20 years...

Wow. So, some scrub player broke his jaw for no good reason? It is likely going to start him most of his season, perhaps his chance to be a starter, and maybe his career. The guy that hit him deserved to get released immediately, and honestly deserves to get sued for being such a clown. He's probably also done in the league now too. People don't want that kind of guy in the locker room when they don't have the talent to back up the sideshow.

Plus he's got a dumb name.

IK.

Who the heck is named IK?

He should have been cut just for having such a stupid name.

Then he wouldn't have been in the locker room to throw the punch.

EDIT: Ikemefuna Enemkpali.

How does somebody even say that?

LOL....this from the fanbase that brought us Tshimanga Biakabutuka!

It was over $600.

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- The altercation in the New York Jets locker room that ended with quarterback Geno Smith suffering a broken jaw began as a dispute over $600, sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Smith, who will miss at least six to 10 weeks with two fractures in his jaw, accepted a $600 plane ticket from IK Enemkpali to appear at the reserve linebacker's football camp in Pflugerville, Texas, according to sources. Problems arose when Smith did not show to the camp, which took place days after someone close to Smith died in a motorcycle accident in Miami, sources said.

After Smith did not attend, Enemkpali demanded that the Jets quarterback refund him the $600 he allegedly used to purchase the plane ticket. Smith told Enemkpali he would reimburse him the money, but he had not as of Tuesday morning. Enkempali confronted Smith on Tuesday about the money, and the confrontation ended in a punch and a broken jaw.

Heard that on my drive home... even more petty than I first expected it to be. Ridiculous.
