Jimmy Deserves all of this Shit

Purgatory of good enough for the athletic dept to keep cashing in. I know this feeling all too well as a Pacers fan. Win just enough to keep the money coming in, but never win anything of consequence. It's the Neverending Story of Mediocrity. I think it went straight to DVD.

Sadly we going to extend this clown and the rest of the conference will be clapping.

No it’s not. The very first line is ridiculous. “They’re begging for him to stay in Columbus.” Why would they be? Why would they care? Carr was like 1-5 in his last 6 tries; RR 0 - 4 and Hoke 1-3. Why wouldn’t the Buckeyes and their fans think they’d trounce whoever followed Harbaugh at Michigan? It’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever read.

Know what other B1G coaches have had poor success against the Buckeyes during that period? Pretty much all of them - I’m not just talking about Harbaugh’s tenure - I’m talking going back to the day Rich Rodriguez darkened our doorstep.

Except for OSU and to a degree the Spartans, Harbaugh has had pretty good success against the rest of the conference. So why would the rest of the conference be clapping if he gets an extension? That’s ridiculous.

It was a tough loss, but in a year where there almost wasn’t Michigan football at all, this much negativity over one freaking loss?

I?m sorry Bob, this is just so dumb it needs it?s own denotation: At the time they were showing Harbaugh being 1-6 at home against the Spartans and the Buckeyes they were showing him being 29-0 against everybody else - so why would the rest of the conference be clapping?

It does come out to mediocrity. This isn't Indiana or Purdue, it's Michigan football. They have 2 rules (hard & fast): 1. Beat OSU; 2. Win BIG title.

That?s a point.

Carr succeeded reasonably well, until he didn?t, and none of his successors have succeeded ever.

Now, I will make an inarguable point - and join me and do the math - today?s loss, as disappointing as it may be, doesn?t mean shit if Michigan wins out and wins the conference title game - thereby abiding by the two rules.

M fans are really fickle - after the big road win, it was on to the CFP.

After today, it?s ride Harbaugh out on a rail.

I wanna see what our guys do next, on the road, against uniquely ranked Indiana.

I predict they do pretty well.

I predict a win.

I might even start the score prediction thread.

I always said he should have been fired last year but to your point, 1. Do you think they win out 2. There is no 2. CFP was never going to happen. Minnesota has two ten win seasons since 1905. Last season was an oddity.

It?s time for a new coach who can motivate his players. Who can hire competent coaches. If you can?t get that out of the article I cannot help you. Yesterday loss was a disgrace. It doesn?t matter what he does against Indiana. He can?t beat Osu and a depleted Msu squad that was so better coached it wasn?t funny. Btw Jimmy has losses on road games at Iowa, penn st, Wisconsin and is what 2-10 against Ap top 10. Well we all know that Minnesota win wasn?t that special. My guess is the other coaches would be happy for Jim to stay.

Plus my biggest issue is where is his fire. He is always talking about Bo. His defenses are not close to what Bo?s defenses were. Why does Don Brown still have a job ? It is time to stop with the excuses. We were promised 1 Jim. We got this other Jim who has a job no matter how bad his teams play. That game yesterday proved he really is just a above average coach. I would rather roll the dice with a new regime then watch what I saw yesterday, and another blow out loss to Osu.

I hope they win out. The games have to be played.

We all hope they win out. But that is not happening. Again I will tattoo a UM on a body part if they end up with 1 loss. So root for that. Maybe Jimmy can use it to motivate his players before games because a 1st year coach with a depleted roster had his team better prepared to play yesterday then a coach in year 6. It really was a depressing watch yesterday.

Again Don Brown
WHY ARE YOU BLITZING ON SECOND AND GOAL FROM THE 13 YARD LINE
WHEN A FG DOES NOT HURT YOU ? He should be fired today or ask to resign.

Yeah, that was a strafe-and-run by a writer with an apparent grudge, IMO. The “begging to stay” angle is high-school level. Anything that one-sided is exactly that: one sided. It’s the laziest and easiest approach to take for a reaction. Trolling in an OPED is odious at best.

Done and done.

If Michigan wins out, I will fly out there, I?ll pick you up in a rented Cadillac, and we?ll go get M tats. If Hungry wants to join us, I?ll pay for his tat.

Jimmy can use it as motivation. He can tell the team ?if we win the B1G, this 60 year old guy in California, who?s from Ann Arbor, who graduated from Pioneer the year before my brother John did - remember the brother who beat me in the Super Bowl? - is gonna come back to Michigan, and get M tats with one or maybe two other old assholes - SO LET?S GO OUT AND WIN IT ALL FOR THAT!!!?

Well I’m not afraid of needles but I did tell my wife if I ever got a tattoo it would probably be my kids Initials or birthdates or her name. So I may have to get a bunch lol. How much do they cost ? Not that I have to worry about it. But you never know maybe Don Brown will look up Zone defense on the internet and learn how to coach it. I mean that screen call was the perfect call against his dumb blitz.

They can?t cost that much.

Our big buddy Hungry has some tats already.

I always wanted a block M tat on my ass, but I was afraid it would limit my options in porn film opportunities.

My wife got a 26.2 with her girl friends for completing the Boston Marathon. But that was on leg and it cost 45 dollars but it was a group rate. So it probably will be around 100ish is my guess.

Hopefully, that was Michigan's worse game. MSU played much better than their first game, maybe this was their best game. My two concerns are Milton throwing into tight windows, and the pass coverage (together with the lack of a pass rush). If they continue to play like they did yesterday, it is going to be a painful season, with a terrible beatdown by OSU. It will be even worse than the Rich Rod seasons because this team has talent and RR's teams had no QB or kicking game.

That?s what my wife figures.

I?ll spend about a G note getting out there.

But I owe a few people a visit anyway.

Also remember that Minny got beat by Maryland. So how good was our victory.

I won't get a tat but if they win out swing by Arizona and I'll add a Go Blue to my head.
