Proud Michigan Head Coach tradition - at least with Bo - Bo was always trying to pilfer the best athletes in other sports over to football.

Not that Bo would have restricted them from playing their other sports.

When Bo was a student athete at Miami of Ohio, it got on Woody Hayes's last fuckin' nerve that Schembechler would miss spring football practice to play baseball.

Totally different attitude than my high school track coach had. He HATED it when some of the track kids played soccer in the fall because he was worried that they would injure their legs. Granted, he was proven right one year when practically half our team was injured, at least one of them while playing soccer. . .
