Michigan Baseball NCAA starts 6/4/21 7:00 Pm

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan baseball program, in conjunction with the Big Ten Conference, announced its 2021 schedule on Wednesday (Feb. 17). The conference-only slate consists of 44 games, including 16 at home, 20 on the road and eight at neutral sites.

Every Big Ten team will juggle a varied schedule consisting of four-game series and multi-team weekend series featuring games against two schools.

Michigan will kick off the 2021 slate March 6-8 against Iowa with a featured tournament at Dell Diamond in Round Rock, Texas, with the Wolverines and Hawkeyes engaging in a four-game series.

On March 12-14, Michigan will play Purdue in a four-game series at Fluor Field in Greenville, S.C.

The on-campus portion of the regular season opens the weekend of March 19-21, with Michigan playing at the Wilpon Complex, home of Ray Fisher Stadium, for the first time since May 12, 2019. Michigan will host Illinois and Michigan State that weekend, playing games against both teams.

Michigan also will play at home against Ohio State (April 9-11), Rutgers (April 23-25), Indiana (May14-16) and Maryland (May 21-23) -- all of which will be three-game series.

Michigan will play on the road against Penn State (March 26-28) in a three-game series, at Maryland with games against both the Terrapins and Northwestern (April 2-4), at Minnesota (April 16-18), at Northwestern with games against the Wildcats and Illinois (April 30-May 2), at Michigan State (May 7-9) in a three-game series, and at Nebraska (May 28-30) in a three-game series.

Specific game times and schedules for multi-team weekends will be announced at a later date.

There will be no Big Ten Tournament in 2021. Times for all games are to be announced and the schedule is subject to change. There is no public access to U-M events due to Big Ten policy currently in effect. Please check MGoBlue.com for further broadcast and coverage information.
 
Weird. I guess game one of the doubleheader is Seven innings. But they are in the top of the 8th in game #2. Very strange they played 9 innings in game 2.

So like normal I am confused. Michigan leads 7-0.

Baseball team was up 4-0 but now it’s 4-4 Michigan batting top of the fifth :/

Michigan 6 spot. Up 10-4 in the 5th or 6th
Michigan wins 11-4 over Iowa.

It was one year ago to the day that I was in Malibu watching Michigan play Pepperdine in baseball.

What a freaky ass week it was going to become.
